I wanted to share a great mindfulness in education online program (FREE) Mindful Summer- that would be ideal for any teachers or staff at your site that are wanting to explore mindfulness for their students. Mindful schools is launching this awesome free online community practice series for educators July 2 to August 12. Mindful Summer is a simple step to learning more about exploring personal practice, and a way to bring mindfulness to your classrooms this fall. I am also excited to share that I will be one of the hosts for this online program.
Mindful summer is a weekly series designed to give educators a light sampling of how mindfulness can show up in their daily lives. Each week is guided by a different thought leader, offering a chance to hear a range of voices and perspectives and new ways to practice mindfulness. Teachers can also join discussions in the community and connect with like-minded educators. As one of the hosts of this program I will be part of the support team there to offer encouragement and help with questions.
This is open to educators with all levels of experience with mindfulness.
I’d like to invite you to learn more and to explore mindfulness over the summer! You can read about it and enroll at: https://community.mindfulschools.org/
Mindfulness helps us not only manage the stresses of our day-to-day but also develop awareness and resources we need to effectively be present and take action in the world.
I would be so grateful if you would pass this along to educators at your site. I am hoping to keep facilitating the growth of mindfulness in education in our community and this truly is perfect for our teachers and staff who would like to sample how mindfulness would and could work in their classrooms or programs.
With affection and kindness,
Mrs. Nicole Kraake
