District School Day Schedule
Learning Facilitator (LF) Responsibilities 
8:30-9:30 Arrival
Prepare learning space
LF arrives by 8:45 to help students log on as needed, may do a 5 min. mindful exercise
9:30-10:30 English Language Arts
-online for instruction/lesson
-independent work
LF monitors, checks for understanding, clarifies virtual assignments with students, models examples, encourages student, helps with time management, takes anecdotal notes to guide one on one instruction, uses manipulatives as needed 
10:30 Break
LF takes students outside for a movement activity and snack, restroom break (wipes down surfaces after each use), monitors hand washing
10:45-12:00 Math
-online for instruction/lesson
-independent work
LF monitors, checks for understanding, clarifies virtual assignments with students, models examples, encourages student, helps with time management, takes anecdotal notes to guide one on one instruction, plays math games, incorporates manipulatives
12:00 Lunch
LF monitors lunch time, hand washing, restroom, physical activity/game
12:30-1:00
Independent Reading
LF will read one on one or small group to work on: fluency, comprehension, reading with accuracy, finding evidence, inference…(depending on grade level), take anecdotal notes
1:00-2:00 Continue Independent Work
Time used for Mindful Moment, exercise, finishing virtual assignments and help submitting, help with organization, working on areas of need, students get a break for a “Me time” activity (read, draw, play, rest)
2:00-3:00 Music/Art/Mindfulness Lessons
If not provided by district, LF will incorporate art, educational games as well as websites, reflecting on the day, cleaning up for a 2:45 departure
**Students take breaks as needed
